NEW OFFICE & RELOCATION

Hinckley & Rugby Building Society is a building society based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Having outgrown their previous head office space, this new office was to become the new home to more than 100 staff. With almost 20,000 square feet of floor space, the new HQ is a third bigger than the existing one. This extra space gives the society scope to continue growing its workforce and to enable its staff to work at their own desks or more collaboratively with colleagues.

Delivered on time and within budget​

Created a supplier database establishing how cost effective the portfolio was being managed and made improvements.

Explored alternative local subcontractors and benchmarked costs to ensure effective ongoing building management.

​​

Streamlined the supply chain where possible to achieve better economies of scale and to renegotiate competitive rates. Achieving some significant savings.

Ensured the building portfolio and in particular the new HQ had ongoing quality sub-contractor support for future efficiency and to maintain compliance.

​​

Surveyed branches and made recommendations on any valuable vacant spaces and gave an analysis on projected revenues achievable by upgrading and renting out those areas of space.

​​

Produced costs and report to upgrade all branch reception areas.
